Rapid response and engineer fixed the problem ,

I was hoping for a repair but the fitter advised that, with the age and condition of the door and mechanism, he couldn t be sure that a similar problem wouldn t arise. A very pleasant, polite guy who cut the cables, lowered the previously stuck door, and made the garage secure for me. Spoke to a lady to order the door and, about 10 minutes later, a gentleman from the office called to arrange installation for late this Friday morning. Swift, efficient service. We have lived at the property for 10 years, so garage door was obviously older than that.

I had a brilliant service from a technician from GDF Huntingdon yesterday. I had been advised not to use my garage up and over door as it was very unsafe by another company when they visited for a quote. I then as one should ,decided to get GDF Huntingdon for a quote . The engineer fully examined all parts of the garage door and said the door was perfectly safe to use . Yes it was old but certainly did not need to be replaced unless I wanted a different type or coloured door !, How very refreshing to find a company with staff who are really honest, polite and explain exactly what needs or not to be done. I will definitely go back to this company if and when a fault occurs or new door is required. Thank you GDF .Highly recommended.

Quick and convenient appointment, good communication and engineer arrived as scheduled. The problem was 8dentified quickly, clearly explained and the best solution given at a reasonable price. Good advice given on what to look out for going forward.

The engineer came right 0n time and did what I wanted.

After a little miscommunication between the liaison reception staff to my self and between the Company the repair expert, Kevin, ( who arrived within the prescribed 1hr slot) the job was assessed, quoted for, negotiated, agreed, and done on the same morning! Great! Even an advisory about the garage door lintel above was received!

Same day attendance and Ian the attending engineer quickly measured up the old garage door, rechecked the measurements, confirmed the existing motor was good for a new door. He explained the type of door we would get and the mechanism, the new steel frame to replace our rotten wood frame and suggested soffits to replace the perspex  windows above. The office very promptly phoned with a quote which we discussed and followed up with an email quote. All very professional.

Engineer was friendly and helpful, he carried out the job quickly and professionally. He told me what had happened when we closed the door.

Jay the mechanic was honest, open and genuine in his approach to the job and me personally. I would have no problem in recommending this company for your repairs
